Burning Bright – a Saatchi exhibition
I’m proud to have been invited by Rebecca Wilson, director of Saatchi gallery, to show work in a three month exhibition she is curating at Hyatt Regency – The Churchill beginning this February in London.
The Churchill and the Saatchi Gallery have formed a unique partnership which will enable guests of the hotel to participate in a dialogue with works by Saatchi online artists. The works will be displayed throughout the public areas of the hotel, bringing exciting new contemporary art to business and leisure travellers, as well as Londoners.
In addition a unique Limited Edition Saatchi Gallery Suite will be available for guests to stay in and experience contemporary art unlike in any other space in London, sleeping amongst a collection of Saatchi Online Gallery works.
The Limited Edition Saatchi Gallery Suite will also be furnished by a selection of iconic furniture designs by Poul Kjaerholm produced by the world-renowned Danish design brand Republic of Fritz Hansen™.
This is not the first time that the Saatchi Gallery and The Churchill have worked in partnership. Last year Rebecca Wilson curated three exhibitions of works from the Saatchi Gallery collection within The Churchill and the Limited Edition Saatchi Suite. Some of the press can be viewed below:
Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has been the Main Hotel Partner of Frieze Art Fair since 2008, and is delighted to continue its association with world-renowned contemporary art.
