a few deserved shout outs
Firstly a recommendation:
Last weekend I went on a photography documenting workshop in London organised by Puro Delirio. The course is designed specifically for artists and enables you to get great images of your work regardless of if that be sculpture, painting/drawing, textile or installation. It is run by couple Maria and Sebastian who are both very talented and generous with their knowledge. As well as learning general camera and post processing basics they work with you on your individual artwork and help solve specific issues which is possible due to the small group sizes they take on. See out their website for more details.
Next some congratulations to some talented friends :
Mark Scott Wood & Corrina Spencer for being selected for this years WWSolo award – they both create ace work do check them out if you don’t know them already. Another congrats goes to the lovely Hormazd Narielwalla who works magic with Saville Row tailoring patterns. He has just won Saatchi’s Art Showdown Prize. He has also just completed a collaboration with Tiger of Sweden and also with Jigsaw and Shop At Bluebird for their Duke Street Emporium. Exciting times!
